Welcome to Friday Favorites! This week I'm going to mix it up a bit. From beauty, to tools, to household stuff. No real rhyme or reason, just some of my can't live without favs!
These items have been staple products for me and my home! So, I thought I'd share. I have to say, one of them I feel funny adding (you'll see why) because it seems so silly to me. The hubby was the one who reminded me of it because it's his ultimate favorite household item! Like legit! The only reason I added it to the list is because anytime I mention this product to someone they surprisingly have never heard of it or are completely clueless to all of its potential.
Okay! Let's get to it...Here are this weeks top 5 Favorites:
*Simple Human Mini Sensor Mirror is amazing!!! So amazing, my mom took mine and I had to buy another one. Thanks mom! This genius mirror has surgical grade LED lights. Charges with any standard USB and once fully charged, holds charge for 5 weeks! I love this mirror because it's perfect for when I'm tweezing and threading. I can almost see too much! Yikes! It's 5' round and 10x magnification. It's great for makeup applications too, if you want something you can focus each section of your face on. I have the travel version, which folds down flat and comes in a hard shell case making it great for storage and travel. Check out simplehuman for all the different sizes. The sensor mirror pro is on my wish list!
*Micro-Dermabrasion Paste by Rodan+Fields is life!!!!! No joke, by far one of my all time favorite micro-derm products I've ever used. Let me tell you, I've used many! I use this 1-2 times a week by massaging it onto my dry face. If you prefer a less intense exfoliation then apply onto damp skin and add water as you are massaging it in. Now, I personally prefer a more intense treatment and I love the feeling of actually exfoliating my skin...that being said I don't want to scratch or irritate my skin. With this product, no matter how intense it may be, my face is happy and as soft as a baby's bum! Highly recommend! Check out Rodan+Fields for many great products!
*Pomegranate Noir Scented Candle by Jo Malone is the BEES KNEES!!! By far the most sexist scent I've ever had in a candle. Comes in fragrance and body products as well and those too are the bomb.com! The scent of this is dark and enigmatic. From the pomegranate to the raspberry and plums to the pink pepper and Casablanca Lily and spicy woods. I mean come on...take me to the bedroom now! So yes, now you know...my bedroom scent. Side note- It is a very strong scent so if you have a smaller room like I do, keep it at a distance when lighting it. Otherwise, unlit, lid off I'm perfectly content with it right by my side. Candle burn time is 45 hours. Check out jomalone for all their fabulous scents. Some other favs are Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Blackberry & Bay, Grapefruit and so much more!
*ImPress Press on Nails are so much fun! Recently, I posted pictures of my nails with a couple different styles from ImPress. Since then , I have used this time and time again and have turned others on to these nails too! So, the pack comes with 30 nails and no glue is needed. You peel off the sticker, place it near cuticle and press and hold for a few seconds. The last pair I used I added a tad bit of nail glue from Kiss just to have the extra support around my cuticle area because that is the first place to lift. It worked even better with the glue! So impressed with ImPressed! The longest they've lasted was about 10-12 days. Great for last minute plans or when on a budget and still want pretty nails. I always get so many compliments! Check out ImPress for all the gorgeous styles!
Last and CERTAINLY not least...
*Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean should be bought in bulk in every single household! Which is exactly what I do, thanks to Costco! This is the product that had me feeling silly for posting. I mean its such a simple thing, yet works miracles and apparently isn't known by everyone! Like I said before, I'm not sure if people just don't know all the uses for it or if they legit have never heard of it. Well let me tell ya'....Kids have an art session on your walls, magic eraser will clean it. Your white sneakers are no longer white, magic eraser will take care of that. Cabinets, doors, glass, baseboards, floors...practically everything! Big life saver in a home with little kids and dirty fingers. It looks like a sponge yet cleans like magic! All you need to do is wet it and squeeze out excess water. Easy! Always do a test run first on a smaller area just to make sure. There are a few places I would be a little hesitant with such as; wood furniture and some glossy painted areas (works beautifully on my kitchen cabinets). I've heard from some that it turns the gloss into more of a matte. That's why always do a test. I did and I was comfortable using it in my kitchen. Check out MagicEraser here.
Well, that wraps up this weeks Friday Favorites! Hope you try some of them and if you do let me know about it! I would love to hear your feedback! Always remember, what works for me, doesn't mean it will work for you! These are my favorites, what are some of yours?
